Fort Wayne International Airport and Allegiant Air Announce New Route to Fort Lauderdale
Fort Wayne, Ind. – Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) will begin non-stop service to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) beginning on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The route will operate seasonally.
“We are thrilled to welcome new non-stop service from Fort Wayne International Airport to Fort Lauderdale with Allegiant Air.” Said Scott Hinderman, Executive Director of Airports. “This is an exciting addition to our continued partnership with Allegiant, and will give our passengers another great low-cost, non-stop destination to enjoy in Florida. This route will bring an exciting addition to FWA’s air service efforts and offer our community a vibrant destination to enjoy as we enter into the winter season.”
The beginning of service between FWA and FLL brings Allegiant’s non-stop routes at FWA to eight – including service to Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Orlando/Sanford, Phoenix/Mesa, Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg, and Sarasota. FWA also offers non-stop service to Chicago O’Hare, Charlotte, Dallas Fort-Worth (American Airlines); Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis (Delta Air Lines); Chicago O’Hare (United Airlines) – bringing the airport’s total non-stop destinations to 14 on four airlines.
Seasonal non-stop service to Fort Lauderdale begins on Thursday, November 20, 2025, with flights operating two days per week on Thursday and Sunday afternoons.
