As a recipient of federal assistance, the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority (FWACAA) is required to comply with various nondiscrimination laws and regulations, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Additionally, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 defined the word “program” to make clear that discrimination is prohibited throughout an entire agency if any part of the agency receives Federal assistance.

The FWACAA assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity. The FWACAA further assures every effort will be made to ensure nondiscrimination in all of its programs and activities, whether those programs are federally funded or not.
