Careers
If you're looking to take your talents to a whole new altitude, consider working for the Fort Wayne-Allen County Airport Authority!
There are lots of interesting positions at the Airport Authority. From the Electrician who keeps the runway lights bright, to the Public Safety Officers on patrol, to the Accounting Specialists who pay the bills, we staff a wide range of positions in our “city within a city.” We even have our own police and fire departments!
The Airport Authority hires only for its own positions. The Airport Authority has a tenant relationship with many other employers (i.e., airlines, car rentals, passenger screening, control tower, restaurant/gift shop, fixed base operators, cargo carriers, and other employers). All these employers do their own hiring and must be contacted individually. Click here to find out more about other airport employment opportunities.

Volunteer at FWA
FWA's volunteer Hospitality Hosts have been assisting passengers since 1999! Hospitality Hosts play an important role at the airport by providing passenger and guest information and assistance, staffing our Welcome Center, and of course, handing out over 3 million cookies to our arriving passengers with a smile! We welcome volunteers of ALL ages!
Our Hosts are important community representatives not only to FWA, but to Fort Wayne, and Northeast Indiana. Hosts get a chance to show true Hoosier Hospitality to visitors from around the region and around the world. They see people they know flying in and out of FWA. Best of all, if you are a member of the Hospitality Hosts, you will make new friends, help hundreds of people, and have fun! Interested in becoming an FWA Hospitality Host?
