Gateway – a means of access or entry to a place. As the gateway and first impression to the city of Fort Wayne, and the Northeast Indiana community, Fort Wayne International Airport is proud to introduce Project Gateway. Following the celebration of ten years of consecutive growth, FWA has exciting, airport altering projects on deck to transform the airport as you know it into a modern, growing facility. Project Gateway encompasses a number of projects including airport terminal apron improvements, the addition of canopies and solar panels at our rental car area, and the long awaited FWA terminal expansion.
