The Gateway Lounge from STAR Bank is part of Fort Wayne International Airport's Project Gateway Terminal Expansion & Renovation project. This new amenity is the culmination of user feedback from passengers requesting a premium environment allowing for work and relaxation apart from the airport’s standard offerings.
The Airport Lounge is located beyond the security checkpoint in the centralized hub of the 2nd floor next to the airport's new restaurant, Hop River Brewing, and coffee shop, Bon Bon's Coffee. As such, lounge users will have easy access to food and beverage, as well as a close proximity to the terminal's gate area.
The Gateway Lounge from STAR Bank offers users a number of exclusive amenities including:
- Private restrooms
- Comfortable seating options including sofa chairs, pedestal chairs, office chairs, huddle-space seats, and high-top chairs.
- Divided workstations with charging ports and outlets.
- Semi-private huddle-chair spaces with coffee tables.
- A private four-person conference room.
- Two semi-private relaxation rooms with overstuffed furniture chairs.
- A coffee table simulated fireplace.
- High-speed Wi-Fi access.
- Charging ports and outlets throughout the space.
- Complementary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages provided by the airport concessionaire.
- A microwave, and refrigerator.
- Large television in the central communal area.
- Flight Information Boards with airline information.
- A separate public address system programmed to play only necessary boarding announcements and mandated messages at lowest frequency allowed
