Fort Wayne International Airport Selects Winner of Indianapolis Colts vs Philadelphia Eagles Contest

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) has selected a winner for their Indianapolis Colts vs Philadelphia Eagles contest.

Jonathan DeTommaso from Fort Wayne was the lucky recipient of two tickets to the September 23 Indianapolis Colts vs. Philadelphia Eagles NFL game at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, and airfare for two to Philadelphia via FWA’s non-stop service to PHL on American Airlines (AA). The Colts vs Eagles contest ran from Thursday, June 7, 2018 through Friday, August 31, 2018 as a way to welcome non-stop service to Philadelphia back into the Fort Wayne community, as well as bring in the excitement of the upcoming football season.

Entries for the contest were collected via an online entry form, as well as FWA’s Facebook page where entrants could follow a link to the online form, and like, comment, and share the original post for a second chance to win. It total, there were over 1,000 entries, with 967 entries coming from the online entry form, and 202 entries via Facebook. The contest garnered much attention on Facebook with 318 Facebook likes, 202 comments, 268 shares, and 2,800 engagements via the social media platform alone.

Non-stop, twice daily service to PHL on American began at FWA on Thursday, June 7, 2018. The route features convenient flight times from FWA, with a morning departure, and a mid-afternoon departure. Tickets can be booked directly through American at 1-800-433-7300, or at www.aa.com.
