Fort Wayne International Airport Announces Spring Mr. and Mrs. Patriotic Promotion for a Chance to Win

Fort Wayne, Ind. – Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) is celebrating the launch of its most patriotic destination, Philadelphia, with the launch of the spring promotional campaign Mr. and Mrs. Patriotic, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

Mr. and Mrs. Patriotic will encourage passengers and FWA staff to interact and have a little fun at the airport. Passengers are encouraged to seek out a Customer Service Agent (CSA) wearing an American flag suit – a blue jacket with white stars and a white and red striped tie. Once the passenger finds the CSA wearing the jacket, they will be able to enter the contest by filling out a contact card for a chance to win.

Passengers have the opportunity for a second chance to win by taking a photo with Mr. or Mrs. Patriotic, or the cutout of Mr. Patriotic found in the terminal and sharing it on any of FWA’s social media channels with the hashtag #MrandMrsPatriotic. Passengers are encouraged to share their photos directly to FWA’s social media pages, or by tagging the airport in addition to the hashtag. Entries will be accepted via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

One lucky winner will be randomly selected from all forms of entry. The winner of the contest will win one round-trip ticket to Philadelphia via FWA’s returning non-stop service to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) on American Airlines.

“The Mr. and Mrs. Patriotic contest is a great way to celebrate one of FWA’s most patriotic destination cities –Philadelphia. After the success of the Mr. and Mrs. Vacation contest, we know that this will provide a fun and engaging way for our staff and passengers to interact. It will also provide an opportunity for members of the community to enjoy our newest non-stop route to PHL,” said Mr. Patriotic.

This past January, FWA announced that daily, non-stop service to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) would commence with American Airlines on June 7, 2018. The airline is expected to serve FWA twice daily on a CRJ-200 aircraft. Departures will be once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

The Mr. and Mrs. Patriotic promotion will run from May 1, 2018 through July 4, 2018 in the main terminal of Fort Wayne International Airport. Customer Service Agents can be found in the airport on both the secure and non-secure sides of the terminal and the Mr. Patriotic cutout will be placed on the secure side of the terminal. Before you rush to your gate to catch your plane, make sure you look for Mr. or Mrs. Patriotic! Winners of the contest will be announced the week of July 4th, 2018.
