"Dodge High Fares" with Allegiant at Fort Wayne International Airport

The Fort Wayne International Airport has teamed up with SportONE Parkview Fieldhouse to host the first ever Three Rivers Festival Dodgeball Tournament in accordance with Allegiant’s “Dodge High Fares” campaign. Allegiant has a history of offering travelers some of the lowest airfare prices on the market, making leisure travel both convenient and affordable.  When flying FWA, you have the option to "dodge high fares" and travel Allegiant. The airline offers direct flights from FWA to Orlando/Sanford, St. Pete/Clearwater, Punta Gorda/Fort Myers, and seasonal flights to Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach services recently reconvened for the summer months.

On top of their already low fares, Allegiant offers packages that include flight, hotel, and car rental deals. When booking your travel as a package, the airline searches for special offers available during your stay as well. Their website also features an activities tab that allows travelers to see what their destination has to offer.

"We really enjoy working with Allegiant to bring affordable vacation travel to Fort Wayne”, says Scott Hinderman, Executive Director or Airports. “We continually strive to bring new Allegiant destinations to FWA and increase the number of direct flight options for the city."

Allegiant offers convenient services, at competitive prices to Northeast Indiana, so when the airline launched their “Dodge High Fares” campaign, it only seemed logical for FWA to get involved.

Think back to your glory days in grade school gym class, when dodgeball was your favorite game. Being a member of the winning team gave you bragging rights for the rest of the day. When you meet your rivals on the court this time, more than just bragging rights are up for grabs. The 1st place team in the “Dodge High Fares” Dodgeball Tournament will have the honor of selecting one of eight local charities to be awarded all event proceeds. The eight participating charities include:

  1. All For You Scholarship Program
  2. American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana
  3. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana
  4. Community Harvest Food Bank
  5. Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana
  6. Special Olympics Allen County
  7. Stop Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN)
  8. Turnstone

Each of these charities works hard to make our community a better place to live. If you’re ready to “Dodge High Fares” and dodge the competition, for a great cause, register your team at www.dodgehighfares.com.
