"Crazy for AZ" Photo Contest kicks off to spread the word of new air service to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport!
Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) is excited to announce the arrival of service to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) via Allegiant! Beginning October 30, Allegiant will begin the FWA-AZA service with operations on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Phoenix-Mesa will be the fifth direct flight from FWA on Allegiant. Allegiant is a travel company known for their flights to sunny, vacation destinations. FWA currently offers flights to three Florida destinations as well as Myrtle Beach seasonally.
Today, FWA launches the “Crazy for AZ” photo contest to help spread the word about this new air service in Fort Wayne and the surrounding communities.To enter contestants must:
- Take a CRAZY photo that incorporates the letters “A” and “Z” – any way they like. We’ve provided some blank letters here, but contestants can feel free to create their own!
- “Like” Fort Wayne International Airport on Facebook (facebook.com/flyfortwayne) and submit their photo on the entry page.
- Encourage their friends to vote once a day for their photo. The photo with the most votes wins!
The contest winner will receive two round trip tickets from FWA to AZA on the October 30 inaugural flight and a 3-night stay at the Hyatt Place - Scottdale courtesy of Allegiant and Fort Wayne International Airport.
As a bonus, anyone who VOTES on the contest photos is also eligible to win the same grand prize!
Photo submissions will take place for two weeks (August 20-September 4) and then voting will begin on September 5. Voting will last for two weeks (until Midnight September 18) and on September 19 the photo with the most votes and one random voter will be named the winners!
